When you want to destroy the enemies of God,
You are not of God.
When your commitment turns to fanaticism,
You are not of God.
When you put laws before love and compassion,
You are not of God.
When you have little concern for the stranger,
You are not of God.
When you are too busy for the weak and the needy,
You are not of God.
When you rely on words to express your witness,
You are not of God.
When you are unable to find time to laugh,
You are not of God.
When you are unable to laugh at yourself,
You are not of God.
When those who don’t share your views are damned,
You are not of God.
